Saving Paradise plot
"You can't erase hope."
After his father unexpectedly dies of a heart attack, ruthless businessman Michael Peterson returns home. He has become the unlikely heir to his father's 100-year-old pencil factory. The company teeters on the brink of bankruptcy and upon returning home Michael immediately manages to make enemies. Michael tries to win over the locals, but the whole factory turns against his aloof corporate mentality. Ultimately, he will have to decide whether it is in his best interest to sell the company or fight for its survival.
