Under Wraps plot
It's almost Halloween. Marshall, Gilbert and Amy are friends. They accidentally awaken an ancient mummy. They are afraid of the mummy at first, but befriend him as soon as they notice that he has a good character. The friends call him Harold. However, a few ruthless criminals want to capture Harold and sell him to the highest bidder.

The acting is solid and the Halloween atmosphere is relatively palpable, but director Alex Zamm turns it into an incredibly childish nonsense film. I used to have the impression that a production company like Disney put a certain passion into each of its cinematic children, but that is no longer noticeable within Under Wraps. Uninspired humor and tired action situations alternate constantly, without becoming even a little interesting. Of course, you can't do much with a mummy in a children's film, but this specific effect is so bare, well-behaved and predictable that I simply cannot explain its creation. Bonus points for the youthful cast members who act with great enthusiasm.
