An original idea and certainly not a bad one and at times touchingly and mischievously worked out, although I wouldn't directly compare amorous obstacles with the dangers the salmon runs in its instinctive urge to reproduce.

Of course we are also in danger, figuratively speaking, of walking into the mouth of the bear, but still rather human than fish.

And the dad in the making is understandable...
