In the year 1381, in a temple well below the infamous Newgate prison in London, the immortal demon Tyburn has made a passage to hell, in a plot to use the forces of evil to take over the world. Just as his plan is nearing completion, his immortal adversary Morgan takes the key to the passage and imprisons Tyburn in his temple. More than six hundred years later, when archaeologist Kristina Segalman discovers an ancient key, she finds herself caught up in an epic battle between good and evil.
