Il Sindaco Pescatore plot

Acciaroli, a coastal town in the municipality of Pollica in the province of Salerno. Angelo Vassallo is an environmentally conscious fisherman who has had enough of the degradation of the sea and his land. He runs for mayor of the corrupt municipality and is elected. The man embarks on a crusade against drugs and crime and pleads with his fellow citizens for respect for the environment.
