Luzzu plot
Jesmark earns a living as a fisherman in Malta, but the income is insufficient to support his partner and their newborn son. The approval of the relationship from the in-laws is also lacking. The black market of the fishing industry beckons.

Interesting and enjoyable film about the decline of traditional fishing, which does not exactly lead to the prosperity of the local population, but also, due to all kinds of regulations and imposed quotas, encourages clandestine work and trade.
Film exudes naturalness and authenticity.
By the way: in one scene a discussion arises about whether or not to catch a species of fish.
It's an Espada. Have tasted it a few times. Delicious. In Madeira they make it a specialty. With bananas. Please.

Interesting theme in itself and filmed quite smoothly, but the atmosphere often remains somewhat flat, partly due to the not very charismatic acting.
