Les Oursins plot

Jean Painlevé digs up a sea urchin on the coast. He puts it back in the sand and the animal digs itself out of sight. Its intestines get nutrients from the sand. Thanks to massive magnification, the spiky and globular sea urchins resemble modernist abstractions, sinking mysteriously into the sand.
