Oscar Benton - I'm Back plot

The Haarlem blues singer Oscar Benton became world famous in the seventies with the hit "Bensonhurst Blues". Ten years ago, he fell down the stairs due to excessive drinking. He landed with his head on a table point, which went right through his skull. Miraculously, he awoke from a coma, with severe brain damage. During a long rehabilitation process, he is lovingly cared for by his ex-wife Anne, girlfriend Ria and his band members. Oscar spends his days in the nursing home in IJmuiden.
