At a time when dissatisfaction with social inequality in France is on the rise, police intervention is becoming more frequent and harsher during demonstrations. In this documentary, journalist and filmmaker David Dufresne examines the ways in which governments justify the use of violence against their own citizens. To do this, he confronts a panel of French citizens with shocking images of the yellow vest demonstrations and invites them to reflect on the prevailing social unrest and the right, or injustice, to the use of force by the state.
