Soldado Milhões - A Série plot

The year 1918. Aníbal Milhais is one of the 75,000 Portuguese soldiers sent to Flanders to defend the Western Front. During the Battle of the Lys, when his unit is forced to retreat, Milhais ignores orders from his superiors and holds his ground in the trenches. Armed only with a light machine gun, he fights single-handedly against successive waves of German attacks, saving the lives of countless Allied troops.

Mediocre war film. The story is quite impressive, but unfortunately the makers cannot convey that. Two storylines are mixed together, but it is difficult to make a real connection between them. They are both about the main character, but I have no idea what they want to emphasize with that. The film contains many action scenes, but these are not spectacular and quite boring and monotonous. So in terms of both sentiment and action, this film misses the mark. Furthermore, the film is not really boring and also looks neat. 2.0/2.5
