Hanne, Marthe and Klaasje are going to present their new album in an Egyptian museum. They arrange everything for their performance. When all three of them make a wish at an Egyptian Wishing Cat in the museum, it comes true to their surprise. Hanne can read the minds of people and animals, Marthe can buy everything she wants for herself, and Klaasje can keep wishing for whatever she wants. But the Wishing Cat's wishes have been cursed by Pharaoh Tritankhamun. The three cursed wishes turn against K3 and cause a heated argument between the girls. Just before their performance, they decide to split up. They never want to see each other again...! Will the Wishing Curse end K3 or will friendship conquer all?

The Flemish answer to Lawrence Of Arabia, Raiders Of The Lost Ark and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider is a crazy, far-fetched adventure for the ladies of K3 who still can't act. The story was probably conceived during a coffee break and it clearly couldn't cost anything. Hanne, Klaasje and Marthe are in a historical museum to prepare for the presentation of their new album. There is a wishing cat that has been cursed by pharaoh Tritanchamon [Peter van de Velde]. So when the girls of K3 touch the wishing cat and make a wish, it goes wrong in all sorts of crazy ways. There are a few nice songs and Jacques Vermeire has his moments as the headstrong roadie who is taken over by the spirit of the wishing cat, but otherwise this is a mediocre exploitation film. If I thought the target audience would care about that, I would have given it a whole star less.
