Pelle Svanslös plot
A shy, tailless kitten named Pelle finds a new home with the girl Birgitta, but then a sudden storm blows him towards the big city, where he experiences all kinds of adventures with kind, but also less nice fellow animals. In the end, Pelle teaches his new friends that it's much braver to be nice than to keep being mean.
