Endearing short film that strikes a nice balance between funny and touching, with practically a one-man show by Maria Kraakman. Halfway through the plot takes a "left turn", and due to the limited length of the film, the makers can also get away with not having to think about how the domestic situation should proceed in practice, but that is of course also the charm (and design) of an experimental short film like this. Nice.
Funny title by the way: it refers to the fact that mother and children only find out that father is not going to the amusement park when he appears at breakfast not in casual clothes but in a suit, but also to father's replacement, the giant rabbit that mother ultimately takes home.
