When a small-town widow grieves for her late husband in her secluded home, she receives an ultimatum from the sons of a local property developer to sell her beloved home. She is given twenty-four hours to decide and she is put under considerable pressure. Her cry for help from the town's corrupt sheriff falls on deaf ears. Then she realizes she has to take matters into her own hands. Her quest for justice leads to a gruesome confrontation.
