De Ogen Die Auschwitz Zagen plot
Ernst Verduin (1927) endured the Vught, Westerbork, Auschwitz, Monowitz and Buchenwald camps. Lotty Veffer (1921-2018) survived Vught, the Auschwitz extermination camp and a death march along thirteen camps. During the war, Lotty was deported to Auschwitz, together with Ernst Verduin's mother, among others. For years, Ernst and Lotty, both Jewish, do not talk about the war and their experiences in the Auschwitz concentration camp. But once they start talking, they can't stop.
