Eruptia plot

More and more residents around a dried-up Romanian oil field are preparing to leave for the city. They leave the remaining workers behind in a last-ditch effort to drill for the oil to revitalize the region. Anca arrives from the city to meet the departing residents and ends up with the chief engineer Barbu. Her arrival awakens slumbering passions in him. The desires that slowly bubble to the surface like oil unconsciously jeopardize the entire operation.
