The wealthy and extravagant Scottish baron Ronald Busch Reisinger van Inneryne spends his time on luxury cruise ships, surrounded by romantic couples, wealthy families, hard-working staff and retired elderly. Filmmaker Sophie Dros follows the baron on one of his many decadent holiday cruises. At first sight the baron is a bombastic man. He brags about his status and extravagant life stories as he parades across the deck in his Scottish quilt and royal cape. Gradually, the documentary explores something bigger; a human desire for recognition and validation.
