Squizzy Taylor plot

"The Larrikin, The Lover, The Legend!"

Melbourne 1919. The flu epidemic in Australia is at its peak and everyone is wearing a mask over their mouths. Perfect opportunity for petty thief Squizzy Taylor (Atkins) to practice his profession. But Taylor has ambitions. He wants to be a gangster boss. The small, essentially weak fellow causes a real war in the underworld but stays out of harm's way, along with a corrupt police inspector.
