Maria plot
Maria is a BlackRose cartel killer who betrays her colleagues by failing to complete her assigned assignment. She is not thanked for this and her execution is demanded. However, Maria fakes her own death and starts a new life. When the cartel discovers she's still alive, they do everything they can to silence Maria.

Average action movie. The story is not very original, but that is also an afterthought with this kind of film. The point is to move from one action scene to the next as quickly as possible. And that works pretty well here. The action, however, is not very special, but it looks professional enough. Furthermore, the film is quite hard and the blood flows freely. The acting is mediocre. Switching languages seems a bit clumsy. Pretty brainless fun, but we've seen this so many times before. 2.5/3.0

Chaotic 13 in a dozen action movie where only the action scenes are properly executed. Another plus point are the attractive exotic women: leading actress Cristine Reyes and her two co-stars Miru (Jennifer Lee) and Wednesday (Cindy Miranda). The ending is a damper as the film seems to get a sequel. 4/10
