Introduction.
Nice introduction to the Black Mirror series. Never seen anything like it before, and I thought that should slowly change. And this has changed, and there will be many more episodes to watch if it continues like this.
This video is short and has a lot to say in its short running time. That's why it sometimes seems chaotic, but in the end everything falls into the right place. Since other episodes are an hour long, I think they could have taken a little more time.
It may not always be visually attractive, but the bare, pale images have quite a bit of added value towards the end. Sometimes the film is suddenly very exciting and extremely atmospheric. Above all, it is a bizarre introduction. The series clearly wants to be something special.
It is mainly the atmospheric parts and the incredibly strong ending that help lift the somewhat rough beginning. The overacting was certainly present at times and that is sometimes at the expense of credibility, but otherwise this is just fun.

Also started with an episode of this popular series.
The biggest disadvantage in my opinion is the short playing time. It feels like there is a lot to be said in 45 minutes. In addition, at a certain point the focus is no longer on the simple plot, but on a raid by a group of well-trained soldiers.
Fortunately, it all comes together towards the end and that part is of a good level.
I definitely plan to watch more, but that's enough for now.

This first episode of the Black Mirror series is a bit out of place because there is virtually no science fiction involved.
Still, I think it's a very good episode.
The UK Prime Minister is being blackmailed into doing something degrading.
Not that it is realistic, it is still a funny and morbid setting.
