I personally didn't like this modern and dark version of "A Christmas Carol". I have no problem with some changes in the story, but this version lacks the magic it should have. In this version, the character Bob is played by Sarina Taylor. In principle, quite a nice angle to go for an actress, but a woman named Bob? Her husband in this case is Tim Cratchett, who is also sick. Previous versions let us kiss towards the end how Scrooge develops into a second father figure for Tiny Tim. In this version, this is omitted, leaving the fate of the adult Tim Cratchett unclear. With some adjustments to the script, this could have been a better version.
