30-year-old factory worker Simon lives a lonely existence on a remote and dilapidated farm. He spends his time caring for his sister Estelle, who has been left disabled after a disastrous children's game. Simon is consumed with guilt and depressed, but he sees a way out. He wants to use supernatural powers to free himself and his sister from their physical prison.

Nice.
The first film by Quarxx is also a good one. A bit in the same vein, but a slightly less fragmented story. Sometimes even reminded me a little of Noé, but there was also some Caye Casas in it. Dark, a bit uncomfortable, but not entirely without humor. And also just very neatly cared for and finished.
No full-blooded horror, but there are enough horror elements in it. These are then supplemented with some mystery and an alienating atmosphere. Strong acting too, clever and good use of the soundtrack. A film (and director) after my own heart.
