Sandgrains plot

Zé is a professional football player in Sweden. When he returns to the Cape Verde island where he was born, he discovers with dismay that there is no sand left on the beach of his childhood. The fishermen, who no longer have fish to catch, remove the sand to sell it for the construction of luxury houses. Zé investigates and becomes aware of the local consequences of intensive fishing.
