"My body was a crime scene."
This documentary follows four survivors whose untested 'rape kits' were left lying as a burden of proof for years as they struggled through the criminal justice mill. They find out time and time again that the system is not working properly. The viewer gets an insight into how sexual assault cases are handled by authorities in the United States, and a picture of the positive effects on victims when the perpetrators are executed, allowing them to finally come to terms with their experiences.
