A Bluebird in My Heart is a well-constructed dramatic story that manages to transcend the average film due to the subdued acting of Roland Møller and a few captivating action moments. Veerle Baetens plays a decent role as the mother of Lola Le Lann , but it is the latter in particular who manages to stand out for her intense performance when she is raped . 7/10
