Ich Zwing Dich zu Leben plot

Germany, just before the end of World War II. In a small mountain village, teacher Grübler tries to persuade his students to join the army. However, when his fifteen-year-old son Wolfgang reports to the Waffen-SS, Grübler is suddenly not so patriotic anymore. He kidnaps his stubborn son and hides with him in the mountains to await the end of the war.
