69 Minutes of 86 Days plot
Three-year-old refugee Lean travels with her parents from the Middle East to Europe. They have embarked on an 86-day journey to Sweden, where her grandparents live. Lean may not remember it later: moving for months in large groups towards the promised land, the boat trips, car rides, bus rides, waiting for food, for a place to sleep, for transport, for clarity. For Lean, it seems above all an adventure. The grief and pain of the adults around her seem to elude her, but are they?
