Useless.

Film that takes place around the September 2001 event. In the meantime we have received several films related to this subject, but I get the impression that they all have a rather American approach. However, this film uses the subject more as a backdrop.

In the end, just being stuck in an elevator while a major event takes place outside is central. We have some characters with all different backgrounds. Do get the impression that Guigui looked closely at names with a status, but did not want to pay too much for it. I haven't seen the faces that walk here in a long time in really big movies.

The restrained thing about the film is that it all doesn't want to get along very well in terms of direction. Guigui rarely manages to mix tension and intensity. For the most part, I was actually laughing awkwardly. The editing and camera work are just too slow to get some suspense into it. Few events that take place outside the elevator do not impress either.

The acting from some of the members is not particularly bad, but it is clear that much has been left to the improvisation of the cast. If such an elevator has to shake, for example, you can clearly see that the actors are just walking around in the hope of creating some chaos. The good thing is that towards the finale there are some better parts, but that has not much to do with 9/11, it is rather some tension from the elevator event itself that I could handle.

Cheap happening, seems to want to score with the whole thing and some well-known names. So a lot has been invested in (in vain) marketing, but when it comes to directing itself, things go quite wrong. I highly doubt this movie will mark the comeback for a single name to be found here, as I have a hard time seeing it happen.

Very solid budget film.

Not the least actors that make the budget part less annoying.
I'm talking about the film being set in one location and the very poorly digitized smoke in the elevator.

The ending was also quite strong and came in quite 'good'.
No, I'm pleasantly surprised.
