Máscara de Aço contra Abismo Azul plot
A collage about Portuguese modernism, centered on the painter Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso. The film alternates between the reproduction of the Orfeu years and the Futuristic Manifesto and between the installation of an exhibition in the Calouste Gulbenkian museum and various states of consciousness. Director Paulo Rocha sketches a world of colors and metals, as longing as it is anarchic and as uplifting as it is uncertain.
