Hier Ben Ik plot

In 'Here am I' we look through the eyes of a number of Bloemendalers who struggle with their lives in which ambition and agitation have become the standard. On Sundays they visit the church in Bloemendaal, where Reverend Ad van Nieuwpoort offers them an alternative by delving into old Bible texts in search of the simple beauty of our existence. Using texts from the Bible, he makes it clear that problems such as burnout, stress and insecurity have always existed.
