Double Play plot

"Life is a game. Different rules apply."

The older man Ostrik returns to Curaçao after many years and looks back on his childhood. At that time, the country was experiencing a turbulent transition from Dutch colonial rule to self-government. Ostrik goes back to 1973 and the events surrounding the game his father played that would have major consequences for Ostrik's childhood. Four men then faced humiliation, loss and betrayal, which sealed their fate.
