Charlotte leads a comfortable life. She dates her best friend's brother and teaches dance to children. However, she craves an affection she never had from her cold-hearted mother and alcoholic father. After learning that Henrik, her half-brother she never knew, has moved to Oslo, she cautiously tries to contact him. A meaningless bond develops, but quickly turns into a self-destructive sexual attraction that threatens to destroy their lives.
