And now it's time again to pay some attention to the bloody, bizarre and gory genre, so we're once again reaching for a Ruggero Deodato film.
A drug thriller, but that doesn't matter at all in terms of gore, we're back in the Amazon and the native Indians look the same as from Cannibal Holocaust and are led by that enormous giant with the big forehead from The Hills Have Eyes.
And sure enough, survivors of Jim Jones Peoples Temple are trying to take over the drug trade to continue the pastor's work.
The pace is good and it contains at least two classic gore scenes.

A disappointing pulp film that completely failed to live up to expectations. The story is simply very weak, and despite a few bloody moments, I expected more gore. The acting and characters don't fare well either. 4/10

Watched it today on Blu-ray, it's in English, but it's fairly easy to follow about a drug gang and a team that has to find a boy.
I was disappointed though, I expected more, a rather unusual story with the journalist and the cameraman, I had hoped for more, there was some gore and nudity, but I found the story a bit far-fetched and very confusing.
They could have gotten more out of this.
