Reach for Glory plot
"Corruption and cruelty amongst teenagers in wartime."
A group of boys are evacuated from London during World War II and end up in a coastal town. Here they pass the time playing war games and forming a gang. Because of fights with the local youth, the atmosphere becomes more and more grim and eventually the playing war gets hugely out of hand.
