Stranger in Paradise plot

At the intersection of documentary and fiction, Stranger in Paradise examines the balance of power between Europe and migrants. Europe takes shape in a master who sucks his class of migrants into his despair. In a classroom in Sicily, just behind the walls of fortress Europe, newly arrived migrants are taught by a teacher (Valentijn Dhaenens) with insane traits. One moment he repels them mercilessly, the next he embraces them unctuously in his arms.
