The Coward plot
The American Civil War. Confederate soldier Frank Winslow is terrified of war. He was forced to enlist by his father, who is a colonel in the Virginia militia, with the revolver to the head. He would rather have run away, but when he finds himself behind enemy lines with vital information, he must choose between his fear and his conscience.
