In a world called Annwn, an everlasting war rages on, waged by cloned soldiers from three military tribes. Each of the tribes has a certain preponderance: one on land, another on the sea, and the latter in technological terms. During this war, one of the clones escapes the battle, and is taken in by a group of remarkable refugees.
