La Battaglia dell'Ultimo Panzer plot
American troops have defeated a squadron of German tanks in a French battle. Five Germans, led by Sergeant Ernst (Stelvia Rosi), manage to escape and go into hiding in a village. They manage to take the mayor and his wife hostage. They must prevent attacks by local militias and show the Germans the way home. Meanwhile, Ernst begins to suffer from shell shock and begins to long for the mayor's wife.
