Gallipoli plot

17-year-old Thomas 'Tolly' Johnson lies about his real age so that he can join the military with his brother Bevan. They eventually end up in Gallipoli, where they are part of the ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) troops. The war against the Turks begins on April 25, 1915. Tolly, Bevan and their fellow soldiers land on the peninsula after dark. They are trying to get a foothold.
