A French film in which there is hardly any speaking, so it is possible! Yet you never have the feeling that too little is being said, or that you are missing something. Vincent is a sympathetic but somewhat maladjusted thirty-something who turns out to have special powers when he comes into contact with water. Whether he discovers that at the beginning of the film, or always knew, that is not clear. Of course you just have to go along with the story, or else drop out. But enough happens and the film has a pleasantly light tone. The locations, rivers and lakes, are eye-catching. Recorded around the Barrage du Verdon in Provence, and partly in Canada. The role of Vincent is played by the director, Thomas Salvador.
