Correcting Christmas plot

Ali, saddened by yet another lonely Christmas, meets the quirky and feisty Ginny at a Christmas Eve dinner. Ali tells Ginny that she was supposed to get married on New Year's Eve last year, but the relationship broke down over the holidays. When Ali explains that she would give anything to go back in time, Ginny tells her that sometimes people do get a second chance. Ali wakes up the next morning to find that it is last year's Christmas.
