Stones in the Sun plot

In 1980s New York, a number of Haitians who have fled their country due to political violence cross paths. A young woman, who finds it difficult to forget the horrors of her past, reunites with her husband, who earns a minimum wage as a taxi driver. A single mother tries to integrate into Long Island and takes in her sister, who is a teacher and political activist. A newlywed man reconnects with his father after years. Everyone has to learn to deal with their past, especially when it turns out that they are all connected.
