Momentversagen plot

Attorney Manuel Bacher makes a slip, but he immediately regrets it and wants to go home as soon as possible. Along the way, he sees a quarreling junkie couple. Because the woman is beaten and strangled, he decides to intervene. He knocks the man down with a bottle. The next day, however, comes the great dismay when it turns out that the man is dead.

Manuel Bacher [Felix Klare] has just celebrated his promotion to public prosecutor when he witnesses a junkie [Christopher Schechinger] severely assaulting another junkie [Lisette Schwarz]. Manuel intervenes so harshly that he fears the consequences. And before he knows it, Joy [Lili Zahavi] is at the door of him and his pregnant wife Leonie [Lisa Wanger] to use her knowledge of the incident as blackmail and persuade Manuel to stand up for her friend [Burak Yigit], who is soon to appear in court. A nice story gets a routine treatment with ditto acting and lacks any underlying tension or even any kind of intensity.
