Mistri plot

The cafe owner Karel believes in his cafe and his loving wife Zdena. She believes that she is in love with the bus driver Milan, who already sees herself driving on a bus route to the sea. Josef believes he has friends and is not a gypsy. Together with Karel, he believes in the local alcoholic Bohouš, who will help them out of financial problems with his vision. At the same time, Jarda, who is disappointed in life, no longer believes in anything at all. However, the circumstances do not stop anyone from pinning all their hopes on the Czech ice hockey team's fierce battle at the world championships. The newly arrived country house owner Pavelec puts it best: „We have to cheer ourselves, the Swedes will not do it for us!“
