wow, reasonable nice b movie, but what linda hamilton does with it is a mystery to me. but yes, she is no longer the youngest, so they should give her a role in a film somewhere. but I do like to enjoy those films with some tension and nice special effects. Yes, there are still some good films like that, although they will never reach a wide audience because that is not what these films were made for. When you read the titles of this film you immediately think of a giant monster because tentacles, that is from an octopus like the Wald Disney 20.00 Leagues Under the Sea with that giant beast an octopus with which they fight. so I thought yes, it must be something like that. I've also seen it a few times, but Bermuda? that was something different so I said let's take a chance if it's nothing then it's nothing I saw it anyway. and it is a modern film because it is 2014 and I am already a fan of those b movies with those Aliens

what they have to fight against. At first I thought it was the beginning of the movie indeed a kind of sea monster, but those tentacles didn't look like those of an animal? when it started firing I knew it wasn't an animal but something else. and I finished it with pleasure and had no regrets.

This is quite a nice film by Asylum standards. Of course it is a bad action/horror/SF film, but it is above average in terms of cast, story and effects. It starts like a standard monster movie, as a number of American warships and of course the president are attacked by large tentacles in the Bermuda Triangle. But it turns out that these tentacles are not a monster, but of alien make and that there is a large UFO at the bottom. After that it becomes a kind of Independence Day, Asylum style. Yes, of course you should not go into the film with high expectations, and I should hope that in reality decisions are not made in the way that the president and army leadership do that here, but as a stupid B-spectacle this was quite entertaining.

There is such a thing as a movie that is so bad that it actually makes it good again. This movie is the opposite of that. The only thing that remotely resembles anything is the archive footage of USS Missouri, but that only lasts a second and a half and it's the wrong ship - the rest of the scenes are on USS Iowa. Narrative, development, music, cast, cinematography, it's all a huge pile of shit. This kind of film is the basis for the fact that there really should be something like a professional ban for everyone who is related up to the 4th degree of someone who was involved in this production.

And I'll leave it at that for now, before I perhaps ramble on. Yes, it really is that bad.
