La Course plot

In the four-part series La Course, the women's team SD Worx is followed during the Tour de France in 2022. The Belgian/Dutch team SD Worx is going to France with a very strong team. The team is formed by Lotte Kopecky, Chantal van den Broek – Blaak, Ashleigh Moolman – Pasio, Demi Vollering, Marlen Reusser, Christine Majerus and sports directors Danny Stam and Anna van der Breggen. They have sky-high expectations for Paris. The start is on the Champs Elysees in Paris and the finish 8 days later on la Planche des Belles Filles. From day one there is a fierce battle for the stage win; the yellow, green and polka dot jersey.

La Course season 1

Excellent Prime Video documentary about the SD Worx cycling team in the very first Tour de France for women in 2022. Beautiful, sometimes vulnerable portraits of strong riders in one of the toughest sports in the world. We see euphoria and suffering, mistakes that are made and the many hours of training work. Sometimes riders have to efface themselves and the collective is central. This creates fascinating collective and personal stories of top women in a sympathetic team. Convincing and unadorned.
