Martin Clunes: Islands of the Pacific plot

Documentary series in which Martin Clunes takes the viewer on a journey through the islands in the Pacific. Clunes was inspired to undertake this journey after reading a book about the expedition of the famous Kon-Tiki in 1947, led by Norwegian anthropologist Thor Heyerdahl. Clunes begins its journey in French Polynesia and ends in the Galapagos Islands. In French Polynesia he enjoys baguettes and coral wine and takes a trip on a winged canoe. He swims with sharks, visits Marlon Brando's eco-resort and sails to the remote Marquesas Islands to meet a local horse whisperer.
