Secrets of the Ghent Altarpiece is a documentary triptych about the meticulous and spectacular restoration of the monumental masterpiece by Jan and Hubert Van Eyck. A Canvas team was given the exclusive opportunity to film the entire restoration process in the restoration studio at the Museum of Fine Arts in Ghent. Restorers, experts and enthusiasts comment on the images. They tell how the restoration revealed a number of secrets of the Mystic Lamb and thoroughly changed the insights about Jan and Hubert Van Eyck.
