A coupon is a paper or digital proof that gives one the right to obtain something. A coupon is another name for a coupon. More than fifty-seven billion dollars worth of coupons are thrown away in the United States every year. On the other hand, however, you also have people who are almost obsessive about using coupons. These people do not intend to take advantage of an occasional offer; they have made it their life's work to buy everything through coupons to save hundreds of dollars.
