After a year and a half of closures, the Hastings Hotels, one of Northern Ireland's most luxurious hotel chains, have reopened their doors. Staff are getting ready to welcome guests back, but the group has lost more than £16 million in 2021 and they face huge challenges in this new world of hospitality. Across the city, the new Grand Central Hotel desperately needs to start generating income to recoup more than £50 million in construction costs. The 5-star Culloden Hotel & Spa in County Down is also trying a new way to make money.
